Within this class we will examine how mite loads build within your hive. Discuss scheduling our mite checks and appropriate treatments for the given time of year, mite load and temperature.

For the second half of the class we will discuss making splits vs allowing colonies to swarm.

Requeening colonies: how to best install new queens or allowing colonies to raise their own.
